LAGOS 5,5 Prototype

Progress of the building of the wooden outboard in marine plywood

The works on the prototype of the wooden outboard LAGOS 5.5 are making their progress. We have just laminated the transom with Robinia wood, and fit the deck.

Now it's time to mount the outboard engine, for which we are selecting the 25/30 hp more efficient and cleaner outboard on the market.

Many potential customers have shown interest and the  LAGOS
5.5 has fans even in the United States and Germany.

Soon we will be able to fix the price of a first small series.

Register now if you want to be notified when we announce it!

New wooden mast for sloop rigged with gaff, scandalous and jib

Wooden mast building for the sloop ABUR

We have just finished also this mast with a length of 11.450 meters, built in Sitka Spruce, in six parts, hollow to lighten and allow the passage of electrical and electronic wiring.

The final weight is 60 kgs, improving considerably the weight of the original mast built in Oregon
pine. We also built stainless steel fittings for the rigging and sail handling as well as the loops for the gaff sail using laminated stem bent wood.
